U.S. airlines are committed to promoting diversity, equality and inclusion. Our effort to connect the world inspires us to foster a culture of respect among passengers and employees without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, culture, gender identity and sexual orientation.
At Airlines for America, facilitating the growth and advancement of women in the aviation and aerospace industry is a priority. Currently, four of A4A’s six senior vice presidents are women. “Having such a strong female presence in leadership roles helps create a culture that attracts more women throughout the organization,” said Nicholas E. Calio, president and chief executive officer of A4A. Calio also serves as an “IAWA Advocate” for women in aviation.
A4A remains committed to recognizing the achievements of leaders within the sector and advocating for the development and promotion of diverse talent in the aviation and aerospace workforce.
