Travel Industry Coalition Urges Lifting of Pre-departure Testing Requirements and Mask Mandate

WASHINGTON, April 11, 2022 — Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, joined a coalition of travel-industry groups in a letter on Friday urging White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha to lift the requirement for pre-departure testing for vaccinated passengers traveling to the United States as well as the federal mask mandate.
