WASHINGTON, July 12, 2021 — We applaud the Administration and Congress for their collaborative spirit which has generated an infrastructure framework for our country rooted in compromise. Now, as Congress returns to Washington after celebrating our nation’s birthday, we call on our elected representatives in the House and the Senate to continue working in a bipartisan manner to move forward with infrastructure policy that is meaningful, smart and effective. The work done to this point – at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue – is to be commended and we urge Congress to continue setting aside differences, finding common ground and acting on issues where consensus has been reached.
