A4A, Industry Coalition Address Urgent Need for ATC Modernization, Supports Increased FAA Funding in Administration’s Proposed Budget

WASHINGTON, March 9, 2023 — Airlines for America (A4A), joined by more than a dozen industry groups, sent a coalition letter highlighting the aviation industry’s concerns about the urgent need for “human and technological resources” to support safety across the NAS and states that the industry believes more needs to be done “to better balance not only the maintenance and sustainability of the ATC system but also the modernization of that system.”
