Airlines for America Launches First Television Commercial as Part of the We Connect the World Campaign

Washington, D.C., June 4, 2015 – Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade association for the leading U.S. airlines, today began airing its first TV commercial as part of the We Connect the World campaign.

Mirroring other components of the campaign, the commercial features airline employees guiding families, business people and shippers to their destinations while highlighting the magnitude of the industry.

“Our 27,000 flights daily help connect the world in a way like no other industry. Airline employees are often the first and last people our customers see while traveling and we are thrilled to feature those same employees representing the U.S. airline industry,” said Jean Medina, A4A Senior Vice President for Communications.

The TV commercial is the latest installment of a campaign celebrating everyday moments made possible by the airline industry, which combines radio and print, as well as a robust online and out-of-home presence. The commercial will appear on network and cable television stations throughout the year.
