Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.

While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.

American Airlines

American Airlines Tulsa team member, Kevin Adams, was shocked when he learned of his cancer diagnosis and continues to share his story to promote awareness and cancer research.

FedEx

FedEx is inspiring and molding young minds at this year’s FedEx Junior Business Challenge. Good luck to all the teams in this year’s finals!

Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines loves to celebrate, and Kellisa’s 18^th birthday made for the perfect party! Southwest employee Chris and his wife Lisa celebrated their daughter’s major milestone by flying to 9 different cities together.

Celebrating is something we take seriously at Southwest Airlines, so when Chris Kain reached out to us and asked if we’d help make his daughter’s 18th birthday a memorable one, Southwest Employees rallied from all over the U.S. to create an epic birthday party. Kellisa, who lives with epilepsy and cerebral palsy, wasn’t expected to live more than two hours when she was born, so parents Chris and Lisa cherish every milestone they reach as a family. Chris arranged for the entire family to spend 21 hours flying through nine different cities to commemorate this very special occasion. Flying is one of Kellisa’s favorite activities, and we’re honored that she chooses to do it with us. Chris, we wish you a Happy Father’s Day, and Kellisa, we look forward to spending many, many more birthdays with you. #FathersDay
