Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their final destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.
While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.
Alaska Air is one of only 15 companies to be presented with this year’s 2016 Freedom Award. The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award is the highest recognition given by the U.S. government to companies, honoring their support of National Guard and Reserve members.

In the wake of last week’s tragedy in Dallas, American is honoring its hometown by assisting family members of the victims and donating to the Assist the Officer Foundation, which provides financial assistance to injured or fallen officers and their families.
Hats off to these incredible FedEx pilots—or should we say helmets off? Four FedEx Captains participated in Race Across America to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, The Laughter Specialists and the Davis Phinney Foundation.
