Member Monday

Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their final destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.

While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.

American Airlines

With help from the Fire Department of New York, American Airlines had the honor of flying the Spartan Sword from Dallas to New York. Made from steel from the World Trade Center buildings, it symbolizes the strength of our U.S. military.

Alaska Airlines

Alaska Air celebrated Astronomy Day this weekend by sharing this one of a kind view of a solar eclipse.

FedEx Fun Fact: Every airplane in the FedEx fleet is named after an employee’s child. Check out the origins of this sweet tradition and why family means so much to the FedEx team.

JetBlue got active yesterday for a good cause! A group of crewmembers represented their airline while spending their Sunday participating in the AIDS Walk New York 10K.
