A Better Flight Plan

Connecting Communities

Member Monday

Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their final destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.

While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.

American Airlines

Recently, UNICEF honored a handful of American Airlines flight attendants for their outstanding efforts on behalf of the Change for Good program. Next time you’re on an international flight with some excess foreign currency, please consider donating to this deserving organization.

Alaska Airlines

Sometimes, the most breathtaking views of our national parks can be seen from the plane window. Last week, Alaska Air celebrated National Park Week and shared this photo while flying by Mount Rainier.

It’s #NationalParkWeek! Now through April 24, you can explore amazing parks for free. What’s your favorite? #iFlyAlaska #FindYourPark #MountRainier

FedEx would like to remind you that Mother’s Day is quickly approaching! Use #LikeMyMom to share how you and your mom are alike and don’t forget to send a little extra love on her special day.

JetBlue works hard to reduce greenhouse gas emissions every day, but especially on Earth Day! This year, they partnered with CarbonFund.org to match all carbon offset donations made on April 22.
