57th Annual A4A NDT Forum

The A4A Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Forum enables NDT professionals and industry leaders to meet each year and discuss current trends, issues and successes in NDT methodologies. The Forum draws participants from various disciplines, including equipment designers, technicians, vendors, regulatory authorities, OEMs, MROs and airline personnel. The Forum exhibit hall features displays, including the latest NDT and related equipment, processes and services.
This year also will mark the 12th anniversary of the A4A/SAE NDT Better Way Award, which will be presented during the Forum. A4A is proud to announce the addition of SAE International as a co-sponsor of the Better Way Award in 2014 and future years. With this sponsoring, SAE participants are eligible for the award beginning this year. We encourage nominations of any deserving A4A or SAE “team” according to the award criteria, procedures and deadlines.
Call for Papers
Presentations on aerospace NDT-related issues are solicited. Abstract submissions are due by July 11, 2014. Submitters will be notified of their acceptance by July 25, 2014. Please review the abstract submission details.
Agenda (FINAL) – In keeping with tradition, we will have prize drawings after each break. We will hold a drawing for a grand prize at the conclusion of the Forum on Thursday, at noon. You must be present to win. Here’s a LINK to the 2013 Forum presentations.
Forum and Hotel Registration
Note that attendees must register both for the Forum and a hotel. Registering for the Forum does not guarantee accommodations, and reserving a room does not automatically provide registration for the Forum.
Recertification points are required to apply for renewal of ASNT Level III certification. Attendance at any of the NDT Forum technical sessions/presentations earn ASNT Level III recertification points at the rate of one point per three contact hours under the 25-point system. Each NDT-related technical session/presentation attended will require a signature from the session chair or session monitor to qualify for points.

Forum attendees are encouraged to register early and take advantage of the Early Bird pricing, available through September 5, 2014.
Confirmed speakers at this year’s A4A NDT Forum are eligible for receive a $100 discount off registration fees.

2. Hotel Registration
The room rate at the Embassy Suites, San Francisco Airport – Waterfront is $169/night. Government employees should register on the site for their room and the government rate will be applied at check in.
In order to fill our contracted room block, we require all attendees to stay at the Embassy Suites. There is a $250 penalty imposed for those not staying at this property. San Francisco residents excluded from this penalty. Thank you for your cooperation.
For cancellation refunds, please contact Sherri Brooks at 304-872-5670 or firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a $50 processing fee for all refunds. No refunds will be given after Aug. 29, 2014.
Sponsorship, Exhibitor and Hospitality Suite Information
The Forum will be held at the Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport-Waterfront. This is an all-suite hotel. If you are hosting a hospitality suite, it will be attached to your sleeping room this year. There are no small meeting rooms available at the hotel for you to host your suite, as we have had in the past.
