EMMC Objectives

EMMC Charter

The ATA Engineering, Maintenance, and Materiel Council is chartered to, within the areas of airline engineering and maintenance, develop consensus for industry positions on legislative and regulatory proposals and identify new and emerging issues, concerns, and proposed industry solutions.

EMMC Mission

Maintain close liaison with FAA leadership to serve as the premier source of advice, coordination, and consensus-based leadership for public policies pertaining to airline engineering and maintenance, to include safety, airworthiness, reliability, and cost effectiveness aspects.

EMMC Vision

To be the proactive leader of a global, responsive, and consensus-based process that continuously optimizes airworthiness, service, and technical value to the airline industry, and to facilitate free lines of communication between FAA leadership and association members.
