ATA News Release: ATA Names Laura McKee Managing Director, Airport Affairs

NEWS RELEASE

WASHINGTON, June 8, 2007 – The Air Transport Association (ATA), the trade association for the leading U.S. airlines, today announced that Laura A. McKee will be joining ATA as managing director, airport affairs, effective July 5, 2007. In this role, McKee will be responsible for the association’s airport relationships and will act as liaison between airports and airlines on a variety of important issues.  

“Laura is a highly talented individual with a broad range of experience in dealing with the many complex airport issues facing airlines. She is widely respected for her management skills and will be an enormous asset to ATA and our passenger and cargo airline members,” said James C. May, ATA president and CEO.  

McKee currently is the director of risk management for Centerplate, Inc., where she is responsible for the company’s risk-management programs, including insurance, safety and security functions. She has 10 years of airline and related experience, having previously held key management positions as regional director of airport affairs for US Airways and as managing director investor relations and director of corporate real estate and airport affairs for Trans World Airlines. McKee also was senior consultant for Unison-Maximus, Inc., and an attorney with the law firm of Evans and Dixon.

She holds a J.D. degree from the Washington University School of Law and a B.S. degree in business administration from Villanova University.               

ATA airline members transport more than 90 percent of all U.S. airline passenger and cargo traffic.
