Media Advisory: ATA Launches Revamped Web Site

MEDIA ADVISORY

WASHINGTON, Oct. 24, 2006 – The Air Transport Association of America (ATA), the industry trade organization representing leading U.S. airlines, recently launched a redesigned Web site with improved public access to valuable U.S. commercial aviation industry information.

The new Web site infrastructure, reorganized information and design enhancements provide users with powerful tools for accessing the industry’s leading resource for U.S. commercial aviation. The site includes a vastly improved search engine, a new site map and topics list, as well as Web pages available in print-friendly format. More improvements will be phased in over the next few months.

Future enhancements in 2007 will include the ability for members of the media to create a profile and request e-mail notifications every time information is posted on topics of interest.

ATA airline members transport more than 90 percent of all U.S. airline passenger and cargo traffic.
