8/28/2008 – ATA commented on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Dispute Resolution Acquisition (ODRA) action to grant ATA’s request for the suspension of the Newark Slot Auction.
8/25/2008 – A protest was filed with the Office of Dispute Resolution Acquisition (ODRA) regarding FAA’s refusal to delay the Newark Sept. 3 slot lease auction until the ODRA has time to make its decision on a pending auction protest.
8/18/2008 – ATA forecasts that 16 million passengers will travel globally on U.S. airlines during the 2008 Labor Day holiday period – a decline of 5.7 percent from the same period last year.
8/15/2008 – ATA has filed a formal protest of FAA’s planned auction of slots at Newark airport with the FAA Office of Dispute Resolution for Acquisition.
