As the 111th Congress and Obama administration continue to consider policies
relating to the nation’s economic recovery and growth, environmental success and

refining its agenda. Congress recently extended the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) programs and budget authority until December 31, 2009, and
will turn its attention to a comprehensive reauthorization of the FAA at a later
