Passenger
A4A member airlines work with the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection on programs to implement security requirements effectively and efficiently to maximize the security benefits and minimize passenger/shipper inconvenience. This section provides information on passenger security-related programs.
 
Cargo
To ensure the safety of passengers and crews of U.S. airlines, a range of safety measures must be undertaken with air cargo and its supply chain – from manufacturers and shippers to forwarders and carriers. This section includes information about air cargo screening.
 
Other
This section refers to other security aspects not addressed in the passenger and cargo sections and may include matters related to airline crews, aircraft maintenance and sterile airport areas.
